PM Career Path

According to the Institute of Project Managers (IPM, Australia), Project Management professionals can be organized into 3 categories based on their job description and  work experience.

  • Project Officers

These are early-level professionals who provide support to a project, works with a project manager and other tram members to achieve project success. Their work includes organizing project meetings, maintaining documents, identify problems or risks and managing project schedules.

  • Project Managers

A project manager is a person who has the overall responsibility for the successful initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling and closure of a project.

Their work includes planning and defining scope of a project, activity planning and sequencing, developing schedules, resource estimation, risk analysis, monitoring and reporting project progress and controlling the quality of project.

  • Senior Project Managers

Senior project manager is a head of any project whose main duty is to plan, organize, lead and control the project efficiently and effectively. They are usually liked by large organizations that works on more than one projects at a time and almost all of their project are complicated enough.

Their work includes delivering project management program, setting realistic goals, providing coaching and guidance, identifying resources, evaluating projects, keeping an eye on latest trends, internal communications strategy and developing tools and techniques.

The PMP® course is for anyone who demonstrates sufficient knowledge and experience to appropriately apply a methodology to projects that have reasonably well-defined project requirements and deliverables.

A typical PMP® candidate has two-to-four years of experience leading and directing projects.

 

  • Program Management Professional®(PgMP)® Course

This course is designed for senior-level practitioner who are on the forefront of advancing organization’s strategic goals. The PgMP® course is for anyone with a proven ability to manage multiple, related projects and navigate complex activities that span functions, organizations, regions or cultures and to align results with organizational goals. A typical PgMP® candidate will have six-to-eight years of  both project management and program management experience.

Training Dates & Schedule

Choose one of two convenient ways to prepare for any of our Project Management Certifications. Classroom bootcamps; which is scheduled for 6-Weeks (two weeks of lectures and four weeks of practical) for early-level PM course and 4 weekend classes for Mid-level & Senior level PM courses. The Classroom bootcamps is only available in some cities.

If your city is not available or if your work won’t permit a classroom session, you can attend the fully online school. We give several learning aids, assignments and tasks which our team will work you through.
